In whatever country a resistor is in demand the Jewish groups and lobbies to denounce the "Anti-Semitism Law(s), criminalization of people that criticize Israel, Jews or Zionists" and to repeal such laws, as they interfere with the sovereignty of the countries that they have been ascended.
I get it, now. Not just the highest level of govmnt, but demand clear statements of support of Palestinians and Palestine, the denunciation of the "Anti-Semitism" law and it's termination -from your municipal/county/region/province/state govmnts, so that a universal message gets disseminated to as many as possible.
The Anti-Semitism Law treats everyone as if they are also Palestinians and criminals of Israel.
WE will not become another scapegoat for Israel/U$A's abject failures.
I have been a loyal customer since I began driving as a teenager. I have been satisfied with the customer service I have received over the years and I always recommend State Farm to anyone who asks me about insurance companies.
But now I inform you of my intention to switch these two policies to another company. On 20 June 2024, The Office Of The High Commissioner of The United Nations has called State Farm into account for investing in companies involved in the sale, transfer and diversion of arms, munitions and other military equipment to Israel – including BAE Systems, Boeing, Caterpillar, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Oshkosh, Rheinmetall AG, Rolls-Royce Power Systems, RTX, and ThyssenKrupp.
If you have taken any action since 20 June 2024, I would like to know the details.
This is not the same time, not the same pace as the Biden administration. This time evolves an altogether different behaviour, an altogether different dimensionality and velocity. Before, 100 people dead and a couple hundred mimed per day. Now an entire people of 2 million may disappear in a matter of weeks. Yes, It is now.
Powerful and brilliant, but insufficient. The demand is essential, but without teeth, how much power does it have? The fundamental problem with not being organized (what you call coordination) is that there's no "or what?" There's no negative impact for them if they ignore us. We have to, nonviolently, make it cost them something. Cost them a lot. What you're talking about is making their evil plans known and visible. But they can't be shamed because narcissist and psychopaths are immune to that. I do think making their plans known has value as it may have stopped both the concentration camp in Sinai (if it stopped...maybe they're right now putting the finishing touches on it as I write), and the concentration camp in North Gaza. It seems like these were balloons they floated and they got soundly shot down. But I'm probably being naive. They've probably just been delayed. I agree also, with Lynette, that it's not just the Nation-States we need to demand this from but from every corporation and university still doing business with Israel. The demand is the strategy, and it's an excellent one--make it impossible for Israel to continue. It is not the goal. The goal is the liberation of Palestine, full stop.
Yes, of course I want an end result. So do you. I'm not accusing you of failing to provide it, I'm just finishing the sentence for those who may not be as clear you are. Your call to action is brave and necessary and excellent. But a demand without teeth is just a request without a question mark. I don't know how to make teeth in lieu of the lack mobilized power. But I agree we need to try. Many people braver and smarter than I am are trying.
I think an ask becomes a demand when it is attached to a threat. I would like to see boycotts of Amazon, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tesla. I would like to see mass divestment in Wall Street in general, but especially arms manufacturers companies invested in the arms industry.
Big banks on Wall Street have helped Israel to fund its war on Gaza. In March, BNP Paribas, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs underwrote $8 billion in bonds for Israel. Call these banks out loudly every day!
Call out the Ivy League colleges that forbid pro-Palestinian free speech! Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, and many many more! I like the idea of organizing encampments on every campus simultaneously.
Why would you not want the world to know that Goldman Sachs is a major financier to Israel? After viewing the video, I found names of Wall Street investor companies on a list compiled by the United Nations. My insurance company, State Farm was on a list, so I would like to find another insurer. I and my husband have written to our congress people many times and never once have they changed what they do. I cry inside everyday for what is happening to Palestinians and I have never seen a letter writing campaign that worked. I am too poor to have any Wall Street investments and boycotting will be a way for me to avoid complicity.

You want an end result. I’m working on a beginning

The point is not to call out or denounce, it is to make people use a muscle they don't know they have. A beginning is the right ppace to start

Ever heard of BDS?
I have a sign on the front window of my business that says,
"Free Palestine
BDS Israel and U$A."
It is paying attention to the origin of goods and services.
One doesn't need to have Israel Graft Investments to recall.
Our shithole little town does much 'Murican tourism.
At my business I don't accept US $$$; answer any call from a U$A number and rebuke any that take offense.
The D in BDS stands for divestment. I am demanding divestment from State Farm.
I admire this very much
